Automower® Enjoys Close Relationship with Mature Trees!

Handling a complex lawn area covering 4,500 square metres, one Automower® 450X manages the lot in this Buckinghamshire garden.

It was pretty time consuming to mow this space manually before, especially with so many mature trees, and hedges to go around. The owners decided they would prefer to spend time actually gardening rather than mowing.

Whilst we had to install “islands” around a number of the obstacles like the tennis court and driveway, we could also leave some of the mature trees to enjoy a closer relationship with the robot! Automower® 450X uses ultrasonic technology to detect objects in its path like trees, slowing down to gently bump against them before turning and continuing its work. Clever.

Next summer will feel like a new era!
